--- LINK ESTABLISHED ---

Can you hear me, soldier?

Good. The link is finally stable. We need you here, NOW. Synth units are spreading across the sector faster than projected—

…wait.

I’m receiving an update.

You’re a new cadet.

Why are they sending us recruits?

…damn it.

Doesn’t matter. At this point we’ll need every ship we can get if we want a chance to hold this grid. That means I’ll have to go over the basics... again.

Listen carefully.

Outer Rim Online is an active combat network across open sectors of space, other galaxies also call it a Massively Multiplayer Online Game. You control a combat-ready ship and take on operational contracts issued by High Command.

Your assignments will include:

  • Eliminating Synth forces attempting to overrun galactic systems

  • Competing in high-risk flight trials against other pilots

  • Surviving asteroid storms to recalibrate our systems and extract data

Successful operations earn you credits. Credits keep you alive.

Use them to acquire new ships, equip heavier weapons, or upgrade existing systems. The better your loadout, the longer you last.

That’s the theory.

Krrzzzt—
And Jack, you really expect me to explain all of this again? These rookies barely last five minutes. One wrong maneuver and they’ll turn themselves into debris.

Wait... you heared that?

Forget it. That wasn’t about you.
You’ll be fine... probably.

Just stay mobile. Don’t trust the void. And remember, there are other soldiers out there, teaming up with them will increase your chances drastically.

I believe in you.. definitely... you will survive this....

Jack, cut the line.

Jack. Now.

Well polished...in all the wrong places, game turns to holding down a button and maintaining an orbit for a couple seconds (Also you slow down IN SPACE), the healthbars arent even right, whos the intern? give em a promotion /s
